SIR – I read of the traumatic episode experienced by Graham Ducket at the Jobcentre in Vicar Lane (T&A, November 2).
The man must have been in agony! He must have felt very vulnerable to make the effort to attend the Jobcentre in his condition shortly after a major operation.
It is also alarming to see that Mr Ducket has had his money stopped, so he can start jumping through hoops in an effort to claim Employment Support Allowance.
I wish him a speedy recovery.
Come on, Jobcentre staff, start doing your job in a more understanding manner.
John Hargreaves, Cooper lane, Bradford
