SIR – Leaving the theatre in Leeds, I raced to Leeds Bus Station for the 760 bus at 9.40pm.
When the driver of this Keighley And District service clearly saw me waving my bus pass, he declined to stop and allow me to board after reversing, but before he actually left the confines of the station.
It would only have taken two minutes, as other bus drivers have done, to stop and let this 75-year-old pensioner to board the bus. He could easily have done so.
