SIR – I read the article in the T&A (September 9) headed ‘People urged to check pressure’, about free blood pressure tests at places such as the Asda store in Keighley.
Alas it seems Shipley, which also has an Asda store, is not covered for a drop-in station.
Is it possible that a station in Shipley will follow, or has the NHS Bradford & Airedale simply not included this area, only three miles from the city centre?
As an over-70 citizen, it was only discovered by accident at my surgery that my heart was beating too slowly. I am sure I am not alone in this.
