SIR – The story in the T&A (September 19) regarding pupil misbehaviour on trains, and the ‘remedy’, reminds me that the pantomime season will soon be here.
British Transport Police Inspector Dave Parker, working in liaison with Northern Rail and Titus Salt School, explained how the system works.
Basically it’s like a football match, a yellow card is first, this could then lead to a red card, which could then involve the Neighbourhood Policing Team – now I’m presuming this would probably lead to a blue card.
Excuse me, officer, and excuse me, Miss, but why don’t you just get on the train?
What load of drivel!
