SIR – On Sunday, August 8, the Bingley branch of the Royal British Legion had a stall at the Bingley Show in order to raise money for the organisation and promote the good work undertaken by the Legion.
The support was encouraging, with the sale of goods, the raffle and donations totalling £346.89.
On behalf of the Branch, I would like to thank all those who contributed towards an enjoyable day and especially to those who showed an interest in becoming members and helpers. Additional help, particularly at Poppy Time, is always welcome.
