SIR – While “experts” may have told Marsha Singh MP (pictured) that lowering the drink-drive limit would be beneficial, other experts hold a different view.

Most people “done” for drink-driving are between two and four times the existing limit.

They are dangerous but would be unaffected by such a change.

However, responsible people would be targeted, probably in the morning on the way to work.

Road safety would not be improved, but a lot of revenue would be clawed in from fines. Maybe that is what the Government wants.
