Readers will be only too aware of the series of robberies which occurred in one part of the district last month and which police believe are linked.
Intruders broke into four homes in the Heaton area of Bradford within the space of just eight days and terrorised the occupants before making off with cash and valuables.
In one raid, members of a family, including two young girls, were bound by knife-wielding masked raiders.
In another, a woman was left tied up in her own bedroom while her house was ransacked.
Thankfully, although the intruders were prepared to employ both weapons and violence, no-one was seriously injured.
However, these were still despicable acts which left their victims traumatised and created a climate of panic and fear in the neighbourhood as people wondered where the robbers would strike next.
Now police have issued two e-fits of suspects they want to trace in connection with these incidents.
We would urge everyone to take a good look at the images and contact police if they think they know who the people may be.
Given the nature of the crimes and the impact they have had on the public, it is vital that those responsible are brought to justice as soon as possible, and anyone helping the police do that will be doing their community a great service.
