SIR – For those like Emma Healm, whose TV interview persuaded David Cameron to hold his Cabinet meeting in Bradford, who think they have to go to Leeds, Wakefield or Huddersfield to shop, may I suggest they visit Keighley?
Within a half-mile radius they will find the Airedale Shopping Centre with more than 80 high street stores, Cavendish Street with around 30 independent shops, a traditional market and no less than three supermarkets – and no hills!
As for transport, there is ample car parking, an express bus service every ten minutes, and a train every half hour. What are you waiting for?
Forget Leeds, Wakefield and Huddersfield; spend your money in the Bradford district!
