SIR – I wrote a few years ago, saying that the Odeon would take many scalps in the near future.
It has taken Maud Marshall and BCR, and is about to take Jan Anderson and Yorkshire Forward.
So, surprisingly, Anne Hawkesworth is going down the ‘illusionist’ route by talking about a drape cover.
The Odeon will still be looking down imperiously next summer, when the City Park garden centre is ‘supposed’ to be opened.
