SIR – May I, through your paper, say a grateful thank-you to the wonderful people who seemed to appear from nowhere when my husband had a nasty fall near Shipley Library on Saturday, April 17.
I am sorry to say I was hopeless, shocked and very shaky. They took charge, rang for an ambulance, ministered first aid, and also looked after me with tea and sympathy. I’d also like to thank the ambulance crew and the nurses and doctors at the BRI.
Your kindness was much appreciated.
Mrs K Chaplin, Ashdown Court, Bradford Road, Shipley
