SIR – Mrs Heal (T&A, January 22) may object to people describing our Labour MP as ‘invisible’, but she cannot deny that our local Lib Dem councillors and their team are very visible here in Eccleshill.
They keep in touch with people all around the year, what ever the weather, and they have secured improvements for Eccleshill as serving councillors.
Indeed, the leaflet which Mrs Heal complains about must have come through her letter box when most people were avoiding the ice and snow on side streets.
There must be a message there. When did Eccleshill residents last see Labour campaigners on our doorsteps outside of an election campaign?
