SIR – What a fantastic picture (T&A, January 21) of how the City Park scheme could look when completed!
Even the most deluded supporters of this scheme must be so underwhelmed, but what a bargain at only £24 million – that’s a lot of grit!
Three trees, a few benches, two hotdog stalls and a water leak – the 2.2 million extra visitors coming to see this little oasis in the desert must be champing at the bit!
