SIR – Hello Bradford, York calling to congratulate the Alhambra Theatre on its Jack And The Beanstalk pantomime.
Forty of our members of Marks & Spencer retired association enjoyed every minute. Even the young bullock performed on cue – thankfully there was a brush and shovel handy!
Just imagine a circus within a pantomime – wonderful. The whole cast, right down to the beautifully-trained Sunbeams, were great.
Is it only me who, as a very elderly lady, found the pantomime emotional? Not the story, but the sound of all those children shouting “He’s behind you!” Fantastic.
