SIR – The decision by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission to allow Hewan Gordon, the Somali who gave refuge to the evil murderer of PC Sharon Beshenivsky in Bradford to stay in Britain on human rights grounds because he claimed he faced persecution back in Somalia, was reprehensible.
Obviously no consideration was given to the human rights of Sharon’s widower and his family.
One wonders how much longer upright members of the community will tolerate the purblind ignorance of do-gooders who sit on these boards.
