SIR – Now that incongruous bridge across Hall Ings has been removed, the area looks so much bigger and one has an unimpeded view of City Hall and the underrated Britannia House.
However, looking across the city centre from the Telegraph & Argus offices, one building sticks out like a sore thumb. Sadly, that’s our historic cathedral, yet all it needs is a thorough clean.
Perhaps the Bishop of Bradford, the Right Reverend David James can arrange to have it spruced up before delivering his valedictory speech next July.
