SIR - There is often adverse publicity concerning rubbish collections and I would just like to make this comment. The bin collections where I live are excellent.
The bin men are always punctual and leave no mess, while the glass/tin and paper bins are without fail emptied on the due date.
To add another word of praise, however depressing the news is, when I reach the first page of the T&A classified section and see the smiling face at the top of the page, I can't help smiling as well!
