SIR - With reference to your editorial comment on a larger proportion of older drivers being caught speeding or jumping red lights, and your interference that they should give a better example to younger drivers, you appear to have missed the fact that the older drivers could be more represented in the figures because there are actually many more drivers in this age group.
In as much as I am a driver in the group that you say should know better, I suggest you are jumping to the wrong conclusions in this case.
