SIR - A new season at Valley Parade is underway after lockdown for Bradford City. There are no fans yet and a depleted squad as many, including striker James Vaughn have gone to pastures new.

On Saturday it was the Carabao Cup. When Bolton restored parity the alarm bells rang. But City managed to regroup and get their name in the hat for the next round, thanks to some good game management.

This Saturday the league campaign starts against Colchester. This is our bread and butter and let's hope the lads don't fluff their lines. And fans need to be patient as in League 2 it's a marathon not a sprint at the end of the day.
