SIR - So Philip Davies MP doesn’t think Shipley secondary school children should have to use face masks in circulation areas within their schools (T&A, September 3).
Surely, he must realise that his constituency is not co-terminus with the catchments of the schools within it. Numerous children cross constituency boundaries in both directions to the school of their choice and, therefore, it is not sensible to have a different rule for Shipley schools as for Bradford’s other schools.
Perhaps Mr Davies ought to put the health and welfare of our children and their families before his obsessive opposition to all things Bradford. Then again, perhaps living so far away in Cheshire means he’s lost touch with what really matters to his constituents.
Nominated for MP of the year! What a joke!
