SIR - Martin Spicer (T&A, November 19) has opened up the "park debate" to include a much wider application of the city development.
Trevor Smith (T&A, November 21) seconds his proposal and articulates a similar, broader vision of real expansion of our city as a whole.
A similar idea to theirs was presented to the council by Bradford Rail Users Group some weeks ago.
The idea of the cross rail link is to put Bradford on the mainline railway network; a London to Edinburgh through line with an appropriately grand station - we once had two of these!
Now is the time, as I understand, that Leeds Station is reaching its capacity.
Judging by your letters page we have some big thinkers in Bradford; are there any in City Hall?
