SIR - Another short, sensible and informative contribution from Bob Watson (T&A letters, August 29) regarding the Bridgehouse Mills flats to be built literally adjoining Wyedean Weaving in Haworth. The walls may be hugely soundproofed but that does not preclude an open window nor even deliveries.
Mr Watson rightly states that the textile company should not be held responsible for any noise issues now or in the future. I suggest a covenant on the new build that first and future residents sign on purchase/lease as an acknowledgement and disclaimer against interruptions.
