T&A reader letter
SIR - John Cole (T&A letters August 5) thinks things can't get any worse but things could be a lot worse. Cameron, May, and Johnson could have failed to get us out of the EU, as instructed to by the electorate, and then what a mess we would be in.
The EU countries are falling out with one another and its whole future could be in doubt. What a disastrous path the now leaderless Liberal Democrats would have led us down.
