SIR - The Government will have little hope of getting people to swap their cars for public transport if the bus service at the Interchange isn't improved.
I arrived on Saturday, November 24, just after 17:45, when I found the next bus was displayed to arrive at 18:05. This is the 576 to Great Horton Road, Queensbury and Halifax. So I waited, but no bus appeared.
The display then changed to 18:25! A bus did turn up then, meaning I had waited 40 minutes!
This is a total outrage, and not the first time a bus has blobbed. Loads of people were waiting, meaning the bus was almost full, even on the top deck.
I have sometimes seen it too full to let people on during the week, but at least another bus is due in another ten minutes - in theory. Sometimes it can be longer.
I think I will try Leeds next time for my shopping.
