SIR - Post Offices Ltd, the company causing so much anger with its, seemingly, uncaring programme of post office closures, is closely allied to the public sector organisation (and I use the word loosely) the Royal Mail.
Readers may be interested to know that Adam Crozier, right, chief executive of cash-strapped Royal Mail, topped the list of earners (again I use the word loosely) in the public sector for the period 2006-7 with a total remuneration of £1,256,000.
Second place on the list is held by Ian Griffiths, managing director of - you guessed it, cash-strapped Royal Mail.
Gordon Brown struggled in at number 143 on the list.
Makes you think, doesn't it?
