SIR - Councillor Vanda Greenwood's letter (T&A, October 24) wrongly alleged that the final decisions as to which local post office closures would rest with City Hall.
However, she was repeatedly and resoundingly rebuked by several correspondents a few days later.
She employed the growing practise of giving her address as City Hall. I do not like this method of hiding an elected councillor's home address and especially if the councillor does not live in the ward, in this case Windhill and Wrose.
I submit that the Leader and Deputy Leader, together with the leaders of the main opposition parties and members of the executive, plus the Lord Mayor, should be the only councillors allowed to use City Hall as a postal address.
All mysteriously strange in these days of apparent Socialist Party claims to public transparency and enlightenment. No spin - honest.
