SIR - Regarding the article about Chloe Locker getting knocked down on Rooney Avenue (T&A, October 31), I am surprised there haven't been more accidents on Rooley Lane and Rooley Avenue.
Most drivers on these roads well exceed the 40mph speed limit.
I was using this road the other day and was behind a car that was doing 30mph when a white van came up behind me flashing his lights.
That's how stupid a lot of drivers are - they only see the vehicle in front of them.
There should be speed cameras on these roads, and not the dummy ones that are on Cutler Heights Lane and Dick Lane.
