SIR - With reference to Mark Goodwin's letter (T&A, October 30) on Bradford's Council's Sustainable Strategy Survey, I remember the 'blitz' of the Seventies and before, when the heart was ripped out of Bradford.
Beautiful buildings such as Busby's, Exchange Station, Kirkgate Market and the Broadway area were all 'exterminated'.
The buildings we have left are even more precious as they are now in the minority!
I would like to thank him for pointing out that I can do my bit'. I certainly will express my views and agree that Bradford's heritage - what's left of it - should certainly be one of the big issues on the agenda.
