SIR - The abortion law should be changed in this country.

France, Germany and Italy have a cut-off point at 12 weeks. To have in this country a law that aborts a baby at 24 weeks and if alive is left to die, is criminal.

It is said there are 200,000 abortions every year in this country. It seems to me it is being used as a method of contraception for some women.

I would just like to ask, doesn't an unborn child have any rights?
