SIR - While I feel Emma Clayton made some very valid points in her column about seagulls (T&A July 24) there is one point I would like to make.
What about the seas being fished nearly to extinction? That is why the seagulls are coming inland. In all my years when I was a kid we never had any problems.
As I say, I think it is down to fishing as well.
