I am starting to believe that what Bradford's judges tell us is simply a sop at the time, as they seem unable to keep their promises as made to the people of Bradford.

Judge David Hatton (T&A, July 3) is the latest to let us down badly.

He hands down a suspended sentence to Aaqib Khan despite: him being a disqualified driver, evading the police, driving dangerously, having three previous convictions for driving whilst disqualified and having no insurance, having failed to provide a sample of breath in 2018, having breached his community order for that offence.

Judge Hatton stated that it was "an alarming piece of driving which put several people in serious danger."

So, well done Judge Hatton for your pathetic suspended sentence which has let down the entire city.
