SIR - My uncle, John Edward Anderson (Jack), was killed in World War 1 in 1918. My mother was his sister, however she was born after the war in 1919. She came from Bingley and moved with my dad to South Yorkshire to work on the railway during World War 2.
This year being the 100th after WW1 finished has prompted my to try and contact relatives of Jack, who was the son of
Joseph and Lilly Anderson. They lived in Bingley and I think one of her brothers lived in Eldwick.
