SIR - I have just written the following letter to our Foreign Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, which I hope your readers will find of interest.

Britain cannot turn a blind eye to the brutal killing of a journalist especially when it was reportedly carried out by a government we have close connections with.

Those responsible for the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi must be held to account and Britain could help get to the truth by halting arms sales to Saudi Arabia and stop this barbarism from ever happening again. Please act now.
