SIR - Expert scientific opinion has declared we are currently on track for catastrophe with man-made climate change, much of it caused by the use of fossil fuels. Yet, three protesters against fracking for fossil fuels in Lancashire were jailed recently for 16, 16 and 15 months respectively, for "causing a public nuisance."
