SIR - Your correspondent J F Hansen (T&A, July 24) questions why, when a city has an iconic building like the Odeon, it should be replaced by something less striking?
The answer is simple. After four years and many millions of pounds, Bradford Centre Regeneration has yet to lay a brick.
Sadly the only building under its immediate control is the aforementioned Odeon.
Put simply, BCR, a company owned by Yorkshire Forward and our Council, has to be seen to be doing something - even if it is wrong!
