Five years spent paying City’s gambling debts
SIR – I’m not going to respond to Christopher Hindle’s diatribe against the Coalition government (Letters, January 22).
I merely wish to point out (once again) an important fact that he omitted, that we’ve spent five years being made to pay the gambling debts of the City of London – a debt incurred under the baleful watch of the last Labour Government.
