SIR - I have just witnessed a most appalling scene of what I can only describe as bullying that takes me back to my army days.

I was visiting an old pal of mine at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

A higher member of management was chastising members of staff, shouting and pointing fingers. There was an air of fear on the ward, staff were visibly shaking.

Surely bullying takes zero tolerance in a place of such dedication and care.
