SIR - Why scrap all those former British naval vessels when they could be used as prisons for dangerous criminals, particularly paedophiles?
Anchored just off the coast, all the passengers' could be supervised 24 hours a day and the police could then concentrate on enforcing law and order, instead of being retrievers of absconders.
