SIR - A couple of years ago, when living in Canada, I heard the Odeon was due for demolition.
I sent an e-mail to the T&A suggesting the building should be used as a "Museum Of Music"
Now I have returned to live in my home town of Bradford, only to find the Odeon still has a forest' growing on the exterior, and there are still letters in the paper and a "Save the Odeon" campaign going on.
Bradford Odeon Rescue Group has proven the interior is perfectly intact. So, will the T&A send a photographer into the Odeon to show us all that it is still in good shape, and can be restored to its original beauty?
Recently, I attended a rock'n'roll night at the Frontier Club in Batley. The compere, Garth Cawood, told the audience that if they would like to see more R&R concerts in the future, they should voice their opinions to the Frontier Club management, as he believed this to be a terrific venue.
My question is this: Why do we need to go to Batley, when we have a perfect venue for it right here in Bradford?

- EDITOR'S NOTE: The BORG pictures we have seen show mainly the inside of the multiple cinema screen units and we are led to believe that the original auditorium seating no longer exists and, therefore, can't be restored. We have asked Bradford Centre Regeneration for permission to enter the Odeon to see for ourselves but they have refused us on health and safety and insurance grounds.
