SIR – Having been brought up in Bradford after the war, the word ‘slut’ was used to describe a woman who was lazy and didn’t clean her house, it was not an attack on her morality.
However, today many people are purposely looking to be offended for political gain.
If there’s anyone in Bradford with a good memory wishing to challenge me on this, let’s hear it.
