SIR – In David Rhodes’s pro-monarchy rant (Letters, July 15), he says I am on a hiding to nothing when I suggest nobody yet knows if Kate Middleton’s baby will be suited to be head of state.
His tone is abrupt. He suggests an advocate of equality and democracy should leave the country. He must have some hard evidence to support his certainty of the infant’s suitability. Perhaps he can enlighten me. Tea leaves? Or is he a crystal ball man?
