SIR – I agree with R Halliday’s letter (T&A, July 13), please do keep Labour on the left. This will leave them out of power.
Mr Halliday blithely keeps on his blinkers to the fact that he was one of those, together with the unions who sabotaged Britain’s manufacturing – not their pet hate figure, Margaret Thatcher – with their one-out-all-out, I’m-alright-Jack attitude and opposition to any new work codes.
