SIR – In response to the article regarding saving the greenbelt from future building, (T&A, July 15), I think its very sad indeed to endure this violation of the countryside.
Unfortunately, in years to come, our green and pleasant land will continue to dwindle.
To reiterate what I’ve said before, it’s due to the high birth rate plus the immigration influx. I could go on, but at the risk of sounding verbose, I won’t.
And as for the politicians, I hope they don’t feed us their usual rhetoric.
