SIR - The enormous difficulty in reducing climate change gas emissions is shown by the report on the microwave ready cup of chocolate (T&A, November 14).
The empty cardboard and plastic waste will either go to landfill, producing methane, or burnt producing carbon dioxide but this isn't mentioned.
We don't need this superfluous choice and neither do the nomads of Northern Kenya dying for the want of unpackaged water.
