SIR – We, the Friends of Bowling Park, litter-pick on a regular basis; in fact we litter picked on Saturday, February 23, for three hours.
People should be fined for dropping litter, children should be educated by parents to take litter home or put in the bin. There are bins in the park, but it could do with more.
Bring back the park rangers, that would solve the problem.
