SIR – I am normally quite critical about supermarkets for a number of reasons, but I must say that the Great Horton Tesco has made an effort.
They have installed a large recycling cabinet to encourage the ‘posting’ of old batteries, used inkjet cartridges, long-life bulbs and the like.
It is well positioned, en route to the cigarette counter and the toilets, and close to customer services. It deserves to be well used, and there isn’t a horse in sight.
Well done.
