SIR – I would like to congratulate all concerned for the wonderful old police station they have transformed into a remarkable building for the public’s use, Keighley Civic Centre.
The money and effort and all their hard work has been greatly appreciated by many. If they had not renovated this building, it would be left looking a shambles, like the old college building.
You may find some people complain, but there are more people quite satisfied with what they have done for this town by keeping our historic building.
They are not to blame for people’s attitude towards this building. They have done their job – now it is up to the members of the public to put their effort in.
