SIR - With regard to the article about retired PC Joseph Wilson (T&A, November 2), as a former colleague of PC Wilson, I can honestly state that, in my opinion, there are only three people who could claim to be better crime fighters and they are, in ascending order, Spiderman, Batman and Superman.
Anyone who has worked with Joe would agree that he thoroughly deserves recognition for his contribution to the policing of Bradford.
