INDEPENDENT craft brewer BrewDog has chosen the Ribble River’sTrust’s Lancashire Woodland Connect tree planting scheme to offset emissions on its road to becoming a Carbon Negative business.
The Trust is also in discussions with a number of other local and national businesses to continue to build momentum and deliver more support across the county.
This support is a key step forward in tackling climate change through woodland creation in Lancashire and will bring wider environmental, financial and social benefits to the county.
The Lancashire Woodland Connect scheme aims to plant half a million trees across the county with planing already taking place at Wycollar, in Pendle and Swardean Clough, in the Ribble Valley.
