SKIPTON’S High Corn Mill continues to attract entrepreneurs with Claire Smith, owner of Balanced Life Physiotherapy, taking up residence and becoming the latest business in the town.

With a focus on wellness, the practice offers a holistic approach encompassing a range of treatments including physiotherapy, acupuncture, aromatherapy, clinical reflexology, sports massage, yoga therapy and rehabilitation.

A chartered physiotherapist by trade, Claire has over 20 years’ experience within the sector. She said: “I fell in love with the space here at the High Corn Mill. It is located in such a peaceful area and the space will allow me to offer one-to-one rehab for my clients safely.

“I’ve worked for the NHS and in house for corporate businesses, so to have my own practice is incredibly exciting! I’m really looking forward to supporting the local community’s health and wellbeing in what have been such stressful times.”

Owner of High Corn Mill, Andrew Mear said: “We’re delighted to welcome Claire and her practice into the mill. We have a great mix of businesses here, from retail to wellness, health and beauty and I think we offer something a little different – charm and lots of character!”

Dating back to the 12th Century, High Corn Mill, has adapted through the years to provide Skipton residents and businesses with a hub of history and lifestyle choices with an array of retail outlets and office units.
