A PRIMARY school had to be closed to all pupils and staff this week after a gas leak was found.
Coates Lane Primary School, in Barnoldswick, was shut yesterday, Wednesday, after the discovery was made on Tuesday evening.
Parents and carers were contacted via email or at the school gate to inform them of the closure, with teachers stating the incident was 'unavoidable'.
It was expected to re-open today.
